Snow above Loch Lomond

Unusually for a Wednesday I had to leave Edinburgh this morning very early to drive back west in order to attend a meeting of the A83 Taskforce being held in Arrochar and which was discussing further action with regard to the recurring difficulties at the Rest & Be Thankful.

It was a positive event with a good outcome ( details are on my Argyll & Bute SNP Facebook page) but the trip through was very difficult with lots of snow falling around Glasgow and along Loch Lomond. .

Coming back to Edinburgh the weather was much improved and I stopped at Duck Bay to get this picture which looks, I think, towards Beinn Bhreac. But I don't know the hills on the east of the loch very well, so I stand to be corrected.
