"No bad weather; just the wrong clothes"

Despite our determination to get outdoors, Drumpellier Loch turned out to hold no attractions when we arrived at its gale-swept gates.  Diverting to Costa at the Fort, we came upon the famous Boots 70% off sale, where they have all manner of extortionate boxes of lotions and potions, horrible perfume sets with Katy Perry,Beyonce and other celeb names as well as children's clothes of such hideous colours and thin fabnric, you wonder if anyone bought them at their original price! Usefully, they also have christmas cards (I am such a cheapskate!) so it is all worth a visit.

However, with a wild afternoon suggesting demanding that we stay cosy and watch torrid and bloodthirsty episodes of Vikings, how pleased am I to have new woolly earmuffs (£3) and multi coloured sockies(£2) to keep my tootsies toastie!
