A day of contrasts

This weather really is out to puzzle us.

Forecast doom and gloom
Early morning, very chilly and windy  (even the "rolling roadblocks" weren't out in the outdoor pool chatting)
Mid morning - sunny and glorious
Slightly later mid morning - vile and torrential
Lunchtime - really quite nice
Now - still quite nice with some pretty sunshine

Later - well, it's anyone's guess but there will be bits that are not nice.

And the blip - well, these jays are fascinating.  At one point there were two of them still clearing up the peanuts that have blown on to the ground.  This is the younger one, who is SO unused to fetching the peanuts from the feeder that my shots of him are just blurry.  He's safely back on the garden table with a mouthful :-)
