Windy Weather

Incredibly, the millions of tons of snow which fell over Tuesday and Wednesday was mostly washed away by the torrential rain yesterday evening and through the night.  Also, the very high winds.

I'm glad to be able to drive safely today, but so much water flooding the fields and pouring onto the roads, and there is bound to be flooding in areas not protected by floodgates.

This poor old tree was one of a line edging the hospital grounds, which I have blipped a couple of times.  Wish I knew what will happen to the wood - I'd love to claim it for someone I know who has a log-burning stove (Family Dog).
