No Mojo Joe!!

I'm not overfond of the expression "lost their mojo" meaning something like "lost their sparkle" but today Joe just isn't himself, hence the title?
It started last night and he's the same today.
He's eating okay
He's been out for a couple of walks
Nothing seems to be sore
Everything else seems to be normal
But he just isn't our Joe!
Normally, he is such a cheerful wee soul, but not today.
I'm pretty sure I saw a mouse in the house last night and we wonder if it made a face at Joe.
( He is scared very easily)
By the way, the live traps are out, but no joy yet.
