Skating On Thick Ice!!!

I was feeling a bit better this morning so I thought I would take the dogs to New Aberdour beach for a walk.
Now, it is quite a steep little hill down to the beach and near the bottom, I noticed there were two sheets of ice crossing the road.
"Too late to stop now" as the album title goes, so I made it to the bottom and we had a lovely walk, all the time worrying about getting back up that hill. ( That's me, the dogs didn't seem too bothered)
Well, "To cut a long story short", as the song title goes, I made it past the first lot of ice but got stuck on the second bit and started sliding back. The problem was that there was a bit of a sharp drop on one side!!
By skilful navigation!!!! I managed to slide my way to the bottom of the hill by which time another jeep arrived at the top. The very considerate driver went to fetch some sand and spread it over the ice and I just made it?
