Not dark yet

Gloucester Street, Stroud, at 4.30pm snapped as I left work and walked home. Got soaked on the way to work, splashed by cars aquaplaning in Beeches Green. Didn't go out at lunchtime because the rain had returned, following some sunny intervals. Drowned again on the way home! Hair still wet now.

CleanSteve went to a well known outdoor shop in the posh part of the Cotswolds and ordered a rain proof coat. Meanwhile, my new Polish wool slippers and truckload of winter-sale thermal garments still haven't arrived.

My colleague, whose maternity leave I am covering, brought in her baby today. He's a real cutie, slept all the time I held him. Filling her in on everything that's happened seem to take a while, even though it's only a month or so ago! Plenty of changes in that time.
