Ice flowers

Ice flowers growing on seedheads left over from the summer. 
These rather ephemeral crystals grow when the weather is still and cold.  
These crystals have appeared over the last 48 hours and it is good I caught them because as soon as the weather changes they are destroyed.  Right now it's snowing hard and very windy so these crystals are gone!  
On 20 December I blipped similar crystals on a plant sticking out of the stream, and on 29 November they were growing even before the snow fell.
