Suffolk Sunset

This was the sunset at 4.15 this afternoon.   My Mother used to say 'as the days lengthen so the cold strengthens' and that was so true this afternoon.   Yes, the days are getting longer but the wind had an icy blast to it so I didn't stay outside for too long.
The colours in the sky were absolutely beautiful and yes the upper clouds were really that black.
