High Rise Edinburgh Style

A cold walk at lunchtime. It was pretty breezy as well, so I didn't stay out for long. I walked down to Dean Village with the aim of walking a little way along the Water of Leith back to the steps.

This picture was taking on the way down. Its respresentative of Edinburgh where the buildings rise up in a series of steps to a hill. The dome is West Register House. It is glinting in sunlight as a few moments earlier it had been snowing.

My walk was cut short as the river was pretty high, and the path was flooded by the river. So a trip across two bridges and back to the warm office.
