Warp cross

Today has gotten better as it went on as really tired this morning from not a great nights sleep.
Managed to get the house tidied in time for our friends the McFarlanes to come and visit with their wee boy. He's lovely and it was really nice catching up with them as I've not seen them for ages.
Managed to even make it outside this evening into the garden as the sun has come out again.
Most amazing of all is that I've managed to get a warp wound and ready to go on Vicky the loom. It's an alpaca warp with the white stripes formed from an over twisted yarn which I hope works. I'm aiming for a collapse weave effect so will see what happens.
Tomorrow is off to an alpaca farm with our guild so it's turning into a bit of an alpaca weekend.
