A spot of gardening!

After a bit of shopping for weekend visitors coming for the day on Sunday, we decided to have lunch at the garden centre. This proved to be delicious. The menu offered "half a sandwich " with a bowl of soup - perfect, as their sandwiches are very generous!
At last I was able to buy several primroses to plant in yet another new section of the garden, down by our gate where we had to have a large fir tree down last year. I went out just after 4 pm, determined to get them planted straight away! This will be another small "woodland" area by the spring, I hope!
It was great to be out there with my trowel, and let's hope that January will provide more fine days to encourage gardening!?
