And it's raining again...

These crab apples looked very colourful as I passed them just as the rain was starting again today. This garden lies between a lane and a field and is always a joy to look at, especially in the summer when all the shrub roses are out.
A "catching-up" morning at home and the groceries arrived in good time, although the driver said he had come through several floods on smaller roads, especially over towards Long Sutton (towards the Somerset Levels).
Possibly due to the weather, plenty of people turned up to play bowls in the hall this afternoon ! Some fun games, a bit of banter, and chocolate biscuits at tea break.
We watched the sky darken, then brighten, and the rain returned, but we had an enjoyable afternoon!
