Summer Splash

I know he's tiny but I couldn't resist posting this shot, totally drenched as he and others enjoyed a summer splash in the sprinkler. The wee wax-eyes were noisy as they chattered with excitement, their tiny wings clicking as they flittered amongst the droplets and in and out of the leaves - cheeky, yes very cheeky!

Another warm day but thankfully not the 31C predicted. We've done more sorting and clearing, listed a few things on trade me, made several trips to the dump, its a long slow process at least we've made a start.

My second bird shot for the year, thanks so much for yesterday's comments for my Australian Coot and his most unusual foot, I'm thrilled you enjoyed it.
