NZ Bellbird

We headed out to the Red Barn for a family meal tonight, celebrating my Mother-in-law's 70 birthday.  Family came from around the Country to help celebrate, and it was fantastic to be able to catch up with them all.

While at the Red Barn, I noticed this Bellbird enjoying the sun and having a meal from the nectar off the flax flowers.  They are a lovely bird, with the most amazing singing voice.
