Wild night in Pentcaitland

Having been meaning to go and visit for ages, we finally managed to go down and visit the Doig family for a good catch up over lots of cheese scones, iberico ham and wine.  Chris had recently pretty much broken off his foot - thank goodness for skin which managed to keep all the bits together until the surgeons pinned it back together again - and has been finding it tough being immobile since he is normally such an active guy.

It was lovely to see them all and chill out whilst the wild winds raged outside - I was astonished that there were no trees blocking any of the roads out to their country hidey hole.  A great way to chill out after the first week back at work.
