One of the many advantages of sleeping upstairs is that you get an immediate weather forecast update as soon as you open your eyes - although this morning's snow did not really come to much.  The wind was still pretty wild, so that the sky changed colour pretty much every half hour, cycling between snowy grey clouds and bright blue wintery sunshine.

We didn't venture far today - preferring the warmth and shelter of the house
