I think he is a bit skinnier now, two and a half years on. He's sitting on the arm of the red velvet tub chair as I write this, staring at the fire, still pissed off that I would not let him climb into the grill chamber to help himself to some cooked chicken. Just boring old Whiskas again for him tonight.

It's been a laid-back home day today, much needed. I did get out to sort out the birdfeeders a bit, and Bomble followed me out. Although there is not much warmth in the January sun, I feel relieved that the skies are brightening.
