The stage is set

This time at the same venue as Saturday night, Christchurch in Nailsworth, for the Bristol Ensemble, a string quartet with a bassist instead of a second violin, and a pianist, who played Schubert's Trout Quintet with considerable verve.

All that, and home made cakes with the tea, too! We are very lucky that they come and visit Nailsworth, in the sticks, every month. I shall return.
