Jump Maica, Jump!

Maica is a little dog, with short little legs. But boy can she jump! It must be her Russell Terrier genes from her mom's side of the family, that's all I can figure. We had been at the dog park for almost an hour when I took this photo of her. She had been chasing and retrieving her little orange ball almost non-stop and still had enough energy in her to leap about 18 inches straight up into the air...again and again and again! I know that doesn't sound so amazing to those of you with large dogs that catch frisbees and balls, but it impresses the heck out of me! I take and blip many photos of our middle dog, Tara...but today it was Maica's turn to shine! :)
