Norfolk Pine Sunset

We spent last night at the apartment minding the two grandchildren while their parents caught up with friends. This morning I let S catch up with sleep, and minded the children. Then had some stuff I needed to do, and the early afternoon was spent listening to a steel band in which S' brother plays a bass drum. Then back to the beach, where I squeezed in a short jog on the beach.

Quite the wrong time for birds, as it was less than an hour past full tide, as well as being late in the day. There was a photo or two I might have chosen, but for this.

The western sky was cloudless, and the bright sun was dropping rapidly below the hills to the west of Snells Beach. I took this photo from the street side of the beach house.
