Fantastic Frank

Stratford-upon-Avon for me, wouldn't be worth going to (more than once) if Frank didn't live there. Who needs William Shakespeare when you have Frank?

Frank used to be my boss. He is the best teacher in the world when it comes to all things IT and he explains things repeatedly with endless patience. One funny thing that has stuck in my mind from years ago is when Frank drove us back from a housing system meeting in Chelmsley Wood. As it was close to home time and it was in my direction, I asked Frank to drop me home rather than take me back to the office. I don't drive, have no sense of direction and I remember getting us very lost stuck between two number 11 buses in Bromford (Birmingham) in the pouring rain. NB. Bromford is not near Chelmsley Wood or Sheldon where I live. Frank never went bananas at me, but I think he aged 20 years dropping me home!

Fortunately, he has always been my friend despite everything. We have shared many pints, concerts, squabbles and above all, laughs over the years. Today was the first time we'd met up for a pint in ages and I had a great time showing Frank my Edinburgh Zoo pictures while enjoying pints of Abbot Ale.

It was a lovely afternoon. How I'd missed my friend, Frank!
