Starting with a smile....

Last night, I fell asleep watching Eurovision (who can blame me?), woke up at 1:35 on the settee, went to bed and was wide awake at 5! That's my normal getting up time in the week but I don't suppose I'll be smiling tomorrow at that time....

I had the funniest twitter conversation ever with @Madonskis and @luggermatt who isn't a blipper. In short, he was making tea for us and toast - Angie wanted bacon - and I told Matt he looked cute in his pinny which then caused us to laugh so much that Angie missed the sunrise.

Later I chopped up the smallest red onion in the world for my breakfast omelette and was quite disgusted, so much so, I posted a picture of this onion next to an egg to give scale. Matt told me it was a red shallot. I replied 'Hmmm.. That's what Tesco Man said on Tuesday when he delivered. I'd asked if that was everything and he'd said 'Yes, that's shallot...' '

Yes I know. I am expecting a hit man anytime.

Other news - I took the picture of this fine fellow before going back to Stratford again for a green blouse that was winking at me in Debenhams yesterday. Mercifully, it was still there so I didn't need to look for anything purple winking at me as a lovely person who shall remain nameless suggested.... ;-)
