Eye of the storm

I suspect next week will be as frantic as the last so decided to opt for calm and solitude today. Worked on stuff almost all day but more productive and less frustrating than yesterday-even managed to get the tax form submitted!
Rewarded myself with further sorting out of childhood memory box, a brisk walk round the Meadows when the sun came out, and also some batch cooking of Broccoli and Stilton soup for lunches and Tom Kerridge's beef and ale stew (I was inspired by the show on Friday night.
