It's been a bit of a film fest recently...
Went to see Bicycle Thieves (dir. Vittorio De Sica, Italy 1948) on Wednesday, which was desperately sad and moving then tonight saw Steve McQueen's 12yrs a Slave. Blimey, another very powerful one...brutal.
So, needed to come home and fire up an old favourite to lighten the mood a bit!
