Cosy cottage

I picked this place in Creiff at the last minute but it turned out to be a winner.

The only trouble with living in a splendid new architect designed self-build house is that you become ultra fussy about where you may be spending your week-ends away (a delightful issue to have I know!).

J did notice that there was a lot of stuff around and on the walls but that is all part of the charm of a wee cottage like this.

We ate in a great place in Creiff last night and enjoyed a long mosy around the antique places of Rait and Abernyte this afternoon.
A perfect birthday treat altogether!

J bought me a lovely garnet and pearl brooch and I pushed the boat out to buy a £6 glass dish for the house!
