Massive Mallard

One of these is not like the others...

What a strange sight: I went to the Isis by Christ Church Meadow, and spotted this very peculiar mallard. He looks like a hybrid mallard goose and is absolutely huge! He thinks he's a normal mallard and behaves like one (quacking and doing their normal courtship moves), but is almost twice the size of all the others. The other two highlights of my walk were seeing a muntjac deer (on the other side of the Cherwell: I got no photo but it was a thrill to see the little thing!) AND finding O.G. still mooching with its parents.
