" DIDN'T WE HAVE IT ALL "
Well the sun shone - no rain, no dark clouds, what more could we want.
Took Matthew out for his usual train spotting at Creech St Michael and we had to wait ages before anything appeared. And of course as soon as we moved away from the bridge, two trains came through!
The flower is a Hellebore, a species I hadn't seen before, at Monkton Elm Garden Centre. Matthew always enjoys a coffee and cake. But this morning, he chose water instead, saying he had enjoyed several coffees with his breakfast. I thought, how sensible!
And all too soon it was time to return him for his lunch. We wont see him now until the end of the month and we will miss him.
It is supposed to be the coldest night so far this winter and I know certainly up in Scotland, where snow is already coating everything, it is indeed purported to be -14 degrees. So for all you blippers up there, stay indoors!!
The dreaded Monday loomith so it will be a case of bite the bullet in the morning and take whatever life throws at us. But January will soon be over and another month nearer to Spring.
Thankyou for looking in and I hope you've enjoyed two days of peace. Sending love to you all. xxxxx
