Frostbite

With a metal camera in my hand today I felt as if I was in danger of frostbite. I certainly cannot comprehend what drives people to swim in it daily though they all swear by it and, to be honest, they are in and out in a matter of minutes. Kite surfers, however, can be out for hours. I know they wear wetsuits but their faces are uncovered and wonder how they bear it. I'm not complaining I was out in the cold for the day as it's so much better than being housebound and with the winter sun doing it's best there were times (while sheltering from the wind) it was very pleasant.....just saying
