Almost time!
You will be seeing many photos of the egrets as I think it's about time for the eggs to hatch! I plan on getting out there as much as I can in the next week to see if any little heads pop up out of the nests. This one above I thought maybe had some little ones but I couldn't be sure. She kept getting up and inspecting. She would pull little soft feathers out of her wing and stuff them down inside the nest where I couldn't see. I wonder??? :)
As I mentioned yesterday, I was up and out of here early to go shoot photos for the annual diabetes walk down in Bandon, Or. It was the most perfect day for a walk! I'm so happy they had great weather! It wasn't sunny, a tad overcast, but it was pleasantly warm with a little breeze and NO RAIN! I think I got some neat photos of the group. They walk from a park in town, down through a neighborhood, the onto the beach, back up a long flight of stairs and then back through the neighborhood to the park. Then it's a little lunch and prize giveaways. Nice day and a worthy cause! Stopped over at the egrets on my way back home. :)
I got about 10 more egret photos if you want to take a peek as well as Face Rock on the Bandon beach and The Coquille Lighthouse or Bandon Lighthouse, as some call it. A lovely day.
I am going to go stroll around the garden now. I do hope everyone is having a nice weekend. Take care
Happy Saturday!
