Chanonry Beach
Along with electricity pylon workers, lifeboat men and firemen, gritters drivers have my heartfelt admiration. They all do a wonderful, dangerous, necessary job working anti-social hours.
You cannot believe how happy and relieved I was to finally see the gritter lorry coming up my hill at lunch time today. I felt as though I were free again, no longer imprisoned by a road like a sheet of ice. It's frightening to think how much we depend on our cars, I'm lost without mine.
Anyway, here's Freddy, Bailey, Poppy and Bud enjoying each other's company on Chanonry Beach and their owners were also able to enjoy some company on the daily walk. It makes all the difference!
