Locust

No, not an invasion of locusts in the town, but one of a dozen or so currently in a tank in the prep room of the Science Department at school.  They were purchased for use by the Biology teachers in their lessons.

They are fascinating creatures - and very active!  They don't stay still long enough to get a decent composition - but he might be smiling for the camera (I can't tell).
