Boots and Gloves

For the majority of the gear I use, once it has outlived it's usefulness it is either recycled in some way or destroyed.  Not the case for this pair of boots and gloves.  These have both been retired.  The gloves have holes in the fingers, the stitching in the palms is torn.  The boots are cracked and broken down.

Instead of getting rid of these two pairs of items, they sit on a shelf in my garage; on private and silent display with a few other pieces of gear I have kept as keepsakes.  These boots and gloves have been stood witness to life changing events for both myself and others.  Now they sit as silent reminders to all the places we have been, all the things that we have seen, and all the things we have done
