CUMBRIAN FELLS

Looking across the River Kent from near Arnside.

We went to Leighton Moss RSPB for the first time this year and were rewarded with a long, slow, fly past from a Bittern, glowing gold in the sunshine. I might have been able to get a photo of it but was not going to swap my binoculars for the camera and miss a single second!
