Strike

As predicted by the weather forecast there were thunderstorms last night in Dubai. I was watching the lightning after midnight and saw a strike on the top of the Burj Khalifa.
I don't think I've ever tried to photograph lightning before and decided to give it a go.
By 1:00am I had nearly 100 photo's all looking much the same with the building and various amounts of cloud, but no lightning.
There were quite a few times when the lightning flashed just after the shutter closed but eventually I did manage to get one which I'm pretty pleased about.
