How To Cross a Cattle Grid

There are loads of these going in and out of the fields where we live. No cattle now, of course, and no sheep either, but the grids are still there and more slippery than ever. I have given up trying to tiptoe across them because I don't like to slip down, so I wait for mum to carry me. In some places, however, there are narrow walkways on top of them, perfect for poodles.

A winter cleaning happened, and it was my stuff that was been cleaned. Why, I wonder? Mum wanted to throw away things like broken toys, small puppy chewing sticks, empty food bags and unused plastic measuring cups. I could have use for everything!
