WHOSE PRIORITY?

There's always plenty of activity around Eling Creek at the head of Southampton Water, but I cannot really be sure that the road sign means what it says to the sailing community.
The creek is home to the Eling Sailing Club so there are always plenty of craft around, and at this time of year quite often out of the water on stands alongside the road by the waters' edge.
From the right angle then, you can make it appear that it is the boats which have the priority  on the land as well as in the water.
The sailing club is situated at the head of the creek and shares its clubhouse with the historic tide mill  which still produces flour.  The club has moorings for a number of boats alongside the wall of the creek and on mud flats as well as deep water moorings.
But this time of year when sailors are working on their boats, you'll often find them out of the water. . . and an impressive sight they make by the roadside.
But whose priority on the road?
