Blue Skies!

The temperature outside is below zero and it hasn’t risen much above that all day on this part of the south coast. But clear blue skies make up for the fall in temperature.
Cold weather is one thing, but damp or wet dreary days with heavily laden skies are the face of winter that I can well do without.
The forecast for tomorrow looks equally bright with plenty of sunshine, and with luck it could even be a bit warmer.
The presence of clear blue skies with only a mere puff of white cloud even puts a lift into my heart — almost heralding the approach of Spring.  Or maybe I am being a trifle too optimistic on that.
According to the forecasters Friday holds the threat of rain again, but the prospect for the weekend is good.
The downside, perhaps, is that with a few days like this I will have to give serious consideration to cutting the grass. It has been so mild through the winter so far that the grass has continued to grow and is now in danger of overrunning the garden.
 
But complain. Not me!
