High Heels and Painkillers

I love my new heels!

Really sad topic but I recently discovered a show company called Ruby Shoo and I love the designs.  This is my second pair which I got to wear today with a grey suit which I also like.  The problem with the suit is that the legs are a bit long for flats but perfect with heels.  This means when I am working in town I can't wear the trousers as in flats would result in my walking a little on the fabric.  Working in town - my typical location - means I have more walking (a good thing) therefore flats to and from the office however I will wear heels in the office.

The second aspect to the picture is painkillers.  I have been in an all day planning workshop in Bracknell which meant a 1.5 hr drive this morning in hideous traffic, workshopping all day and then finally getting in the car to come home about 7pm when we thought the traffic would have died down (which it had).  

My head was thumping when I got home but some lovely painkillers has sorted me out - good thing too as still some stuff to do this evening.

Yesterday was a bit of a disaster timewise - fire evac at work meant I lost some time.  I was going to go to a coffee shop near the office but they were all full of other evacuees keeping out of the cold.  Instead I went to the pub - where I had a coffee and invited my boss to meet me there rather than delay our planned meeting :)  It worked.

Is it really Wednesday already tomorrow???
