The Stephens House

Since the day was mostly overcast, I decided to go in search of a little history lesson.

The Stephens house was built in 1912, making it 103 years old. As the sign tells you...it is an excellent example of Cracker Gothic style. With no air conditioning, the house is raised up 3 feet, so air could come up through the slats in the floors. (What about bugs?) Also, there are 3 different porches, allowing the homeowner to open the doors to let the tropical breezes flow through.

P.S. After fixing the internet problem, I back-blipped yesterday.
