TWO FLASH OR NOT TO FLASH . . .
Many thanks, yet again, for all your technical support given to my Blip of 9th January.
Today my Blip is another old flashgun from my collection. For those interested in the technical background to this saga, please read on below – otherwise just enjoy a piece of photographic history and look out your own old flashguns !
Sporty Bit . . . your support clearly worked. Boro had a grand win last night and moved into second place in the league table. Come on Boro !
Many thanks to technical Blippers for their most direct support as the story continues.
According to the specs of my Nissin 360TWFlash, the critical trigger voltage of this flashgun is 10.5V – and according to Olympus themselves this is fine for my E-M10 camera. RESULT – and the Yorkshireman can save money and use his old flashgun with a digital camera . . .
NOT SO . . . say Nissin. Surprisingly they state that the 360TW flashgun can have a trigger voltage up to 240V and must not be used with a digital camera. Boo Hoo !
I guess I will just have to spend some money.
Now which gun shall I buy . . . nothing too flashy of course !
