Looking ahead to Spring!

Bought some daffodils a few days ago; they were only buds, very tight.  But as the days progressed they opened into lovely blooms.  They make me look forward to spring, although we have a way to go yet.  -1C today, but no wind, and the snow is still thick on the ground.
