Wet in the woods
After an evening of dancing, we were up early this morning for a fine Scottish breakfast.
We had a two hour country dancing session in the morning, and then a group of us walked the disused railway line into Aberfoyle, and had a bite in the Wool Centre. It was wet, but we decided a short walk would do us good, so we went up Doon Hill, a very small hill in the area, and then walked back in a circle to the hotel.
The weather was very dull and wet, and it was difficult to decide on a blip, but I liked this moss covered log.
Have been talking to a lot of people, most of whom come every year, the furthest away I found was from Portsoy in the north east, also people from Banff. The north east is very strong in country and ceilidh dancing, and we work hard to keep up with them, they are good!
Back at the hotel, we had a rest before dinner, followed by another night of dancing. This is the second year we have come, and it is very friendly and we know a lot of the dancers, which makes a real fun evening.
...... and more of the same tomorow!!!
