P is for ... Party Cake!

I only had one choice for a blip photo today .. this one! It was the only picture I had time to take all day.

The culmination of all of this weeks festivities starting with Dawn's 30th was today's open house party here.

It went off brilliantly. Just about everyone came, and it was good to catch up with some friends I haven't seen for a while, and Welsh Si, Barman and Flintaxe, and of course all my family.

The cake was lovely, and as gooey and sweet and stick as a good birthday cake should be!

I suspect way too much alcohol has been consumed, and there will be a price to pay, but to have this much fun with the people you love, it's a price worth paying!
