Couldn't be easier!

We've been to the open evening for 6th form this evening. Our daughter had her 16th birthday this weekend and now we are looking at 6th form. it doesn't seem 5 minutes since she was a new born baby.

Now this education stuff is a bit beyond me given I didn't do very well in my own exams many moons ago and the fact I only went into 6th form myself because I couldn't be bothered to go out to work and I didn't know what I wanted to do anyway, but I did find tonight very interesting. We looked at each of her subjects closely, talked to teachers and by the end of the night some subjects she thought she might do she decided not to. A very informative evening.

It did emerge that in one subject the students can choose their own question to answer for the exam. they chose a question, this goes off to the exam board who agrees or not and they then answer the question. How good is that? As it is history I told my daughter she could make her question about me and answer it, after all I am now half an antique and I am historic! couldn't be easier!
