Wandering the streets of Glasgow

Is not something you want to do on a cold winters day. However we did and ended up in JL for toast and coffee, we are both off cake and puddings and JL didn't do toasted tea cakes. Shame.

The above item looked 'um' interesting and we blipped it to show our wood turning neighbour to see if he thought it was a marketable idea. Later when in Boots John was a perfect husband! He sat whilst a lovely young lady tried to improve my face, (banish the winter look), and he didn't make derisory comments afterwards, possibly due to shock when hearing the total I could spend on a new face. I didn't, well only a little .... Anyway as a reward she gave him a few samples to help revitalise his skin, the shock lingers on.

Off to Braehead now to see if we can buy clothes for J, a sat nav that will cope with the world and a few foody things. And tonight a venture out to see a group who are part of the Celtic Connections programme. It's a stand up event and not sure how we will cope.
