View from a train

Today's the day ......................... to go on impulse

We're really up in Edinburgh for the week, house-sitting for Ron and Margaret while they're away - but today, I had a hankering to go home to Kendal and go to choir practice tonight.

'You must be completely mad' - I can hear you saying - and you're probably right.  But when I thought that it's actually not much more than two hours by train door-to-door, and it is one of my most favourite train journeys - well, I just did it anyway....................
