Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face

Today's the day ........................ to address a haggis

I do love a good Burns' Supper - and tonight we went to very good one.

It was held in the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh in aid of St Columba's Hospice and it was a big affair with several hundred people attending.  But that didn't stop it being well organised.  The haggis, neeps and tatties and all the other culinary delights were delicious - and the whisky flowed freely.

This was a member of the famous haggis-making MacSween family (who had donated all the haggis) putting all his passion into the address. There was more entertainment in the form of Forth One presenter Grant Stott, Stand-up Comedian (and Fringe favourite) Bruce Fummey and the wonderfully funny Mark Cox and Jane McCarry, better known to many as Tam and Isa from popular TV show Still Game.

We didn't quite make it to the carriages at 01.30 am stage - but we weren't far off it ...............
