Orange tinged day

A slow melt has set in as the temperature reached a balmy +4c, but a lack of sunshine means that the snow was still here as it got dark. 
Was a funny day, sky wise, as the sun never made it all the way through the clouds but we had this strange orange glow slowly move around the southern horizon.
