Cranmoor Derelict

The village of Perton lies just in the South Staffordshire Area but is very much a dormitory village serving the Black Country.  It was built in the 1970s and 1980s on a former wartime airfield.  Just across from the village some of the buildings associated with the former use still stand as a reminder to times past.  Most of the buildings have since been converted into dwellings but this small building sits in it's dilapidated state on a public right of way just to the west of the village.

I had gone out looking for some interesting trees but was struck by the decay of the building with the dramatic backdrop of the sky.
